Diaphragmatic breathing: This technique involves breathing from the diaphragm, a muscle located at the base of the lungs, to control the airflow and support singing. When breathing from the diaphragm, the stomach should expand instead of the chest. This type of breathing helps to increase the volume and control of the singing voice.

Breath support: This refers to the use of the abdominal and intercostal muscles to control the airflow and maintain a steady flow of air while singing. This helps the singer sustain notes and maintain good tone quality.

Vowel modification: This technique involves modifying the shape of the vocal tract to produce different vowels sounds, which are important for clear and concise singing. By modifying the shape of the mouth, the singer can produce different vowel sounds that can be modified to fit the style and genre of the song they are singing.

Resonance: This refers to the amplification and enrichment of the voice by utilizing the natural resonance of the vocal tract. Different resonators, such as the mouth, nose, and chest, can be used to produce a rich and full tone.

Vibrato: This is a slight variation in pitch that adds expression and warmth to the singing voice. Vibrato can be produced naturally or through specific exercises, and can be controlled by the singer to match the style and genre of the song they are singing.

Diction: This refers to the clarity and precision of the words being sung. Good diction involves enunciating words clearly and accurately, and can be improved through exercises such as tongue twisters and articulation exercises.

Pitch accuracy: This refers to the ability to sing notes in tune and on pitch. Good pitch accuracy involves being able to match the pitch of a note, and can be improved through exercises such as scales and ear training exercises.

Dynamics: This refers to the variation in volume, such as loud and soft singing, that can be used to convey emotions and add expression to a performance. Dynamics can be controlled through breath control and the use of the diaphragm.
